RULES:
The regatta rules (RR) 2005-2008 of the international sailing federation will apply, special safety regulations for shore regattas (CSF), Rules for crash avoidance on the sea during night navigation, rules book about the sailing boats with Croatian flags, regatta advertisement except eventual changes concerning the directions for regatta and for sailing.
In case of disagreement the text written in English language is the valid one.
PARTICIPATION RIGHTS
The regatta is published for sailing boats (monohull) with minimal LOA of 9, 40 m, with the inside engine.
Rights to participate have all the steersmen and crew members verified according to the rules of their national unions. Steersmen’s certification must be valid two years backward.
REGISTRATIONS
Registrations on the forms are available on our web site (www.tijat.adriatica.biz) and they can be sent by fax, mail or personally delivered to Regatta office latest till Friday 16.11.2007. by 5 p.m.
The registration fee of 100, 00 KN per person and 150, 00 per boat is paid during the registration at the regatta’s committee office at Vodice waterfront (Riva).
Before the registration, the controller (appointed by RC) must examine the boat and sign the form in order to make the registration. .
REGATTA JABUKA 2007 ROUTE:
A: Vodice – Komorica - Jabuka - Blitvenica - Vodice
B: Vodice –Komorica –Jabuka – Komorica -Vodice
Every control point can also be the regatta’s finish depending to the weather conditions.
SAILING PROGRAM
November 15th & 16th – Boat control and start fee payment till 5 p.m.
November 16th – Regatta start from 9 p.m. till midnight
November 18th – limited time of regatta till 12 p.m. (midday)
- Winner announcement and lunch at 2 p.m.
ADVERTISING
Regatta is C category with the addition of the 1- ISAF advertising codex; the Organizer has the right to demand the placement of the regatta’s sponsor ad on the sailing boats.
REGATTA CLASSIFICATION AND CREWING MEMBERS EQUIPMENT
Regatta Jabuka 07 is the 3rd category regatta. Concerning the special safety regulations for shore competition according to Croatian sailing federation – (CSF) the following is mandatory:
1. stabile VHF transition
2. mobile VHF transition (Motorola) or reserved antenna on the deck
3. manual bilge pump
4. pyrotechnical signals
5. buoyancy belts uzgonski pojasevi
6. safety belts
7. “horseshoe” belt along with fluorescent buoy
8. two solid buckets
9. two waterproof manual lamps with alternate batteries
10. fog horn
11. compass
12. anchor
13. first aid kit
14. sailing maps
15. radar reflector
16. inside engine
17. fuel for engine (for 100 miles)
18. navigational lights
19. fire prevention instrument
ANNOTATION: In case if RC while examining the boat determines some discontinuities which can affect safety of sailing, keeps the right to disconnect the boat.
TEAMS:
Sailing boats will be classified in two groups for the Regatta Jabuka 07 as following:
I.) Group ORC-club by the acceptable certification «ORC-club» (or IMS) certification of grouping
II.) Group OPEN, by the LOA that will be shared by groups in feet, starting from 31 feet (min. 9,40m)
The Regatta committee will decide the number of groups to be formed as well as categories depending to the number of registered participants.
Group with less than 3 sailing boats will embed to bigger group.
All the sailing boats compete for the fastest boast prize in realtime.
RESPONSABILITIES:
Organizational committee and everyone included in the organization of the Regatta Jabuka 07 don’t carry any responsibility for any kind of loss, damage or injury that may arise to persons or items while being on the sea or at the shore as a result of participating on regatta.
